This is a one-day course introducing the world of dental restorations.
Indications are many in the field of veterinary dentistry: uncomplicated fractures or wear causing dentine exposure, enamel defects (developmental, iatrogenic, traumatic, infective), caries, and finally coronal filling on root canal treatments and vital pulp therapy.
The course starts with a theoretical part introducing equipment, materials, and methods. The theoretical part is followed by a practical session, where we treat the most common cases seen in small animal veterinary general practice.
The course is for veterinarians and veterinary nurses interested in veterinary dentistry. No experience is needed, but basic knowledge in veterinary dental radiology is helpful.
